Notes - In Rhenish Bavaria, apprenticed to six years Court Butcher to the Count von Daun on the Rhine. Served one year in the Dutch War. In 1741, came to PA with family, but wife died on the voyage. Lived in Philadelphia where he was comforted by Count Zinzendorf and joined the Moravians. Moved to Lititz in 1764 to take charge of the congregation store.
From will, it is not clear which children go with which parent. First three listed assumed to be the children from Christian's first wife.
