      The tracts are adjoining. Apparently, Abraham Martin acquired both c1769-it is unknown from whom. Patent records must be consulted.

      Abraham's marriage is proven in the following indenture:

      Deed P3-635: Christian Oberholtzer, Abraham Martin & his wife Maria, Peter Good & his wife Anna, John Heiger & his wife Barbara, Jacob Good & his wife Veronica, and Jacob Weaver & his wife Magdalena released their right & title to their brother John Oberholtzer.
      --10 Oct 1791 [full abstract not yet acquired-but all parties are children & heirs of Jacob Oberholtzer, deceased]

      The couple allegedly had five children. A record search on this family has not been completed. Dates for children taken from Oberholtzer family article in July 1989 PMH.
